In the fall of 1959 I enrolled in The University of Texas at Austin. This is my student I.D. card. That activity fee included tickets to all home football and basektball games, not to mention "cultural activities" like concerts. The photo was taken after my first registration. Anybody who went through registration in those days can tell you that I was lucky to survive.
