My great-great grandfather, B. W. Jackson. He owned what was at one time the largest plantation in Texas, in Anderson County. If his first wife hadn't died, I would no doubt have grown up a wealthy guy. But she did, and all his money went to his second wife's children. The land was given in undivided interest to all the children and has been passed down to the descendants in the same way. At one time I owned several acres of this undivided land, but I gave the acreage to my brother via a quit-claim deed last year.
