Bouchercon in Chicago, 2005

Many of the following photos were taken in Chicago over the Labor Day weekend when Judy and I attended the Bouchercon in Chicago. We had a great time, as you can probably tell. Just click on a picture for a larger view.

The biggest surprise of the Bouchercon (for me) came when I received the Don Sandstrom Memorial Award presented by Deadly Pleasures, at the Barry Awards ceremony. I was stunned, but very appreciative. I'm sorry the photo of Don on the plaque doesn't show up better here, because he was one of the greats.
