Bob's Party

Sunday, November 27, was Bob Crider's 60th birthday. His family surprised him with a party on November 25. Here are a few photos from the big event. In this one, Bob is coming into the Civic Center. His younger daughter, Sarah, is on the left. Her son, Boone, is in the foreground.

Fall Comes to Texas

My father owned about 1000 acres near a ghost town called Personville, Texas, about ten miles from my hometown of Mexia. I inherited about 1/3 of that property when he died, but I don't get to visit often. My brother, Bob, still lives in the old hometown, and he looks after the property. He goes just about every day, as our father did before him. Today he took along his digital camera and made a few pictures.
